TEBOGO MEKGOE

CEO of Orenda Advisory & Strategy

TEBOGO Mekgoe is currently the CEO of Orenda Advisory & Strategy. Mekgoe, who received his MBA at the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business is a mechanical engineer by training and a former airport manager by profession. He spent almost 17 years at Airports Company South Africa, starting as an engineer in 2000, rising to become manager of East London Airport and then OR Tambo International Airport, before finally being appointed ACSA’s inaugural chief operating officer (COO). Leaving at the end of 2016, he founded Orenda, a management consultancy advising a range of clients from local corporates to blue chip multinationals on strategy and organisational alignment and effectiveness. He also joined Henley Business School Africa as a member of the adjunct faculty, where he has been teaching systems thinking, operations management and strategy for the last five years to students on Henley’s executive education & open programmes. Mekgoe is also formerly the Head of the MBA Programme at Henley Business School, and an Independent Non-Executive Director of COMAIR Mekgoe has a passion for holistic thinking, using the tools he teaches to make the complex simple and comprehensible to ensure his clients and students get the skills to define their purpose and reach their full potential.”
